Just 4 blocks to the parade route/Garden District (6 blocks to Commanders Palace!), this historic 4/3 built in 1850 has everything you need to Party Up or Wind Down. Relax on the back porch with a fire, or make drinks at the bar to watch Second Lines go past on the front porch! You'll feel like a local being close enough to the party, but far enough to unwind. No matter what brings you to NOLA, we can't wait to host you!

Thank you so much for booking Spirits of New Orleans! Below I have included our house-guide which provides all the information you'll need to access the home during your stay. Please read through this information prior to your arrival and contact me with any questions.

The Address:

It’s a cream colored double shotgun camelback house…welcome to NOLA!

Parking:
Please let us know beforehand if you will be bringing a vehicle with you to use during your stay.
Street parking is available and easy to find, we ask that you try to park as close to the Airbnb entry point as possible to keep our neighbors happy, thank you!

Entry Info:
There is a keyless lock on the door.
Your custom 4 digit code will be the last 4 digits of the phone number on the reservation, unless otherwise specified. After you input your code, hit the big bottom button.
Door lock will automatically disengage, then handle and push in door to open.

To Lock:
Pull the door tight then press the big bottom button and the lock will automatically engage. The lock is also set up to automatically lock after 5 minutes, so keep an eye on it if you’re running in and out!

Check in is: 4 PM
Check out is: 11 AM

*If you would like to send us a message the day before your arrival, we can let you know if the house can be ready for early check in.

TV/Roku:
The TV is an all-in-one Roku streaming device. You can watch all your favorite TV series and movies on Netflix, Hulu, HBO and Amazon! Just use the Roku remote to navigate the TV menu, volume buttons are on the right side of the remote.

Bluetooth Speaker:
Link your devices to our Bluetooth speaker wirelessly to listen to music during your stay! To use, make sure the speakers are charged or plugged in and that the switch is in the "on” position (a blue light will glow). Then find the speaker on your device’s Bluetooth settings and connect! Now play the music from your device and enjoy!

Heating/Cooling:
We have central air and the thermostats are located on both levels of the home.

Other Rules & Info:

*Please no more than 12 people in the house at all times.

*Accessibility info - There is a short flight of stairs to enter the home and a large flight of stairs to access the upstairs bedrooms/bathroom. There are two bedrooms and bathrooms located downstairs.

*This is a non-smoking home.

*No parties or pets, please.

*We have super fun neighbors, but the do have day jobs! Please quiet down later in the evening (10pm on weeknights, 12am on weekends) if outside.

*Curbside trash and recycling are located on the to the right of the fence if looking at the street outside the house.

Check-Out Instructions:
*At checkout, please gather up trash & recycling.
*Load and start the dishwasher.
*Gather up all your personal items, don’t forget your charge cords!
*Don't worry about doing anything else, we will take care of the rest!

The space

This home includes 4 large bedrooms and three full bathrooms with tubs. The master suite includes an enormous walk in closet, dual shower heads, a separate soak tub, and privacy bathroom. Both bathrooms downstairs also feature a bidet. The spacious living and dining room are great to host friends or spread out to relax. Upstairs features two bedrooms with a Jack and Jill bathroom. There are enough closets to hold anything you need!

We have a lot of pride in our bar room as well, so we hope you'll take full advantage! Glasses to serve any cocktail and geaux cups at your fingertips. The back porch was built to extend the party outside, complete with full grill and smoker, fire table, and fence for privacy.

The front porch is a great place to start or end the day, with a perfect view of any Second Line parade!

Guests will be able to access the entire home and all amenities at their need or leisure.

Neighborhood overview

Just 4 blocks to the historic St. Charles avenue, the street car, and the Garden District. A few more blocks gets you to Magazine street, where you can stroll between beautiful homes and eclectic businesses. There is no shortage of restaurants, bars, and shops you can walk to!

We highly recommend downloading the Mardi Gras app for all parade updates, or Googling "New Orleans Events Year at a Glance" for event info!

Getting around

Ample street parking is available, however don't feel like you need to rent a car! Just a quick ride from the airport and you can walk or take the historic St. Charles streetcar wherever you'd like to go!
